Introduction...
A brief Introduction to me,
I was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on April 16th, 1998 and lived there for 4 years. We moved to Phuket, Thailand shortly after my 4th birthday and I attended The British International School, Phuket Thailand (BISP) formally known as Dulwich International College. For the next 10 years, I would call Phuket my home. From a very young age I was very athletic and after I started getting more serious about my swimming career, my parents and I decided it was best to move to The Singapore Sports School to continue my training as a National Swimmer for Singapore. Here I trained and groomed my talent as a swimmer and in doing so I achieved a respectable amount of accomplishments. After a short 2 years, I decided to move back to BISP as it would serve me best for the education I wanted to do, The International Baccalaureate (IB)Diploma. Due to heavy educational and personal commitments, I made the tough choice to quit swimming. Another 3 years In Thailand left me with an IGCSE Cert. and an IB diploma, countless memories and most importantly a new found passion for Filmmaking.
However, through these years, there was always something on the back of my mind, looming ahead was compulsory National Military Service for every Singapore son. Singapore was calling me again but this time it wasn't for swimming, I was being called to enlist. October 5th, 2016, a date to remember...
I had a few months of freedom left and I wasn't going to let it go to waste. I planned each month to maximize my time and soak in the wonders this world has to offer. I began planning my adventures, excited and hungry I booked my flights.
My adventures took me all over the world. Starting in Nepal, trekking and filming through the Forbidden Kingdom Of Mustang, a surreal and magical place! Following this was a dramatic change of scenery. Onward to a Eurotrip with my childhood friends, I knew this was going to be a once in a lifetime holiday, so I grabbed my camera and documented the whole experience as best I could. It did not disappoint!
As the date, Oct 5th, 2016 inched closer, the anxiety and uncertainty leaked into my mind and flooded my head with drowning thoughts. But it was something I had to do, it was my Duty towards Singapore.
As I write this, I am still in service, but my passion for Filmmaking grows more demanding and my eagerness to learn and create beautiful images, thought to provoke content as my head is overflowing with stories that ricochet with potential scripts, clips, shots, and films.
